On Wednesday July 10th, 2013 Grand River zone spent the day at Niagara on the Lake learning about the history of Fort George, they also got the opportunity to experience the Jetboat whirlpool tours that included traveling on class 5 rapids performing 360 degree turns! In 2012, Grand River had a day of culture with a tour of the Hamilton Art Gallery, followed by mask designing. After dinner at Swiss Chalet we continued with the fun by watching the award winning Harlem Globetrotters.
